A Message from Glenn Gallas, Founder
Citizens for the American Agenda (C4AA) is made up of ordinary citizens like you and I with an extraordinary love for our country. We believe that from its creation until today, America is the bright and shining example of a citizen lead government. However, in recent years, American citizens have forgotten and ignored the fundamental principles and the documents that framed our government and established our great nation. We, Citizens for the American Agenda, want to restore our nation to its constitutional roots and relight the flames of Patriotism across America.
Knowing who we were in the past will help us understand who we are today so we can know how to get where we are going in the future.
Glenn Gallas Founder Citizens for the American Agenda (C4AA)
Our vision is to restore America to its proper role in the world as a Champion for Freedom and Liberty. To accomplish this we must revitalize the American Spirit that created our nation. We must return to the fundamental principles and values of our founding fathers and we must return our government to within the confines of the US Constitution.
We believe in:
Constitutional Authority – The fundamental role of government is the maintenance of basic security and public order. This role is defined by the Preamble of the US Constitution; Justice, Defense, Public Order, and Secure Liberty. Furthermore we must never forget that the purpose of the constitution was to restrain government while providing for the maximum opportunity for freedom of its citizens.
That government’s goal is to create equal opportunity and not equal success.
Less Government – When government expands in size, it does so at the sacrifice of the Freedom and Liberty of its citizens. Therefore any increase in the size and reach of government authority is not in the best interests of its citizens.
Less Taxes – The only way to restrain the size of government is by limiting the funds that sustain it. We must remember that our wealth is gained by trading our freedom for it, by either working or investing in our future. Therefore we must be resistant to any increase in fees or taxes that fall outside the necessary functions of government
Fiscal Responsibility – Government’s management of our financial resources demonstrates the respect government has for its citizens who fund it. The government should never compete against the private sector and out sourcing should be used whenever possible. Before approving any spending three essential questions should be answered; what is the purpose, what is the intended result, and how will success and failure be measured?
